Simba was born in Harare, Zimbabwe but now calls Australia home. He has been married to Helen for 14 years and together, they have two beautiful children. Helen is from Perth and is always an encouragement and support to Simba as they serve the Lord together. Simba became a Christian one evening in 1998 after hearing the faithful preaching of the gospel in a packed church hall.
Simba has had the privilege of sharing the gospel with many people in different countries, cities and cultures. He has lived and preached in Zimbabwe, Kenya, Namibia, and Australia and travelled extensively on mission trips to many more places.
Before entering Christian ministry, Simba trained and worked as a boiler maker. He worked for the evangelism mission agency African Enterprise in Zimbabwe and Kenya for several years. Simba spent 5 years ministering as an associate pastor in a multi-cultural urban congregation in Windhoek, Namibia. When he moved to Australia, he served as an Assistant Minister at the parish of West Leederville in Perth. Before joining the Diocese of Bendigo, Simba was the lead pastor of Cornerstone Christian Church for 3 years in Canberra. He holds a Bachelor of Theology from Namibia Evangelical Theological Seminary and M.A. (Theology) from Trinity Theological College Perth.
Among many things that bring joy to Simba, it is jazz music, playing with his children, living in beautiful Tatura and sharing the life transforming message of Jesus to others.
